Chemex Ottomatic Coffeemaker

Don’t let those Folgers commercials fool you: making great coffee is not easy. The Chemex Ottomatic coffeemaker promises to take much of the hard work out of the equation for you and still consistently deliver a great cup of joe.

The Ottomatic coffeemaker used together with the scientifically designed, patented Chemex Bonded Filters and the Chemex carafe brewing process are the real MVPs here. Key brewing variables such as pre-infusion and contact time of water to coffee are managed automatically, so you can grab a few more minutes in bed. Something called “Greedy Cup” Sprayhead Technology is also used here, which delivers a staged brewing cycle, pulsing water bath to ensure a maintained temperature, and other complicated processes that we don’t fully understand but fully support if it results in us getting superb coffee every time.
