Over the course of the two-dozen James Bond films that have debuted since Dr. No first hit the silver screen in ’62, audiences have been introduced to a host of the international super spy’s favorite items, from 007’s preferred choice of car to watch to sidearm. However one lesser-known offering Bond boasts an appreciation for is his bubbly of choice, Champagne Bollinger, and with 2021 marking the 40th anniversary since the bottle’s first appearance in For Your Eyes Only, the famed French champagne producer has opted to mark the occasion via the release of a limited edition bottle.
Coinciding with the forthcoming release of No Time To Die, the special edition Bond-themed bottle is based on Bollinger’s Special Cuvée — a Pinot, Chardonnay, and Meunier blend that’s cellar aged in magnums for up to 15 years. In addition to being sold in a special gift box that shows the spy standing alongside his iconic Aston Martin DB5, the 007 Limited Edition also features a revised label design with white and gold script and a black and gold neck collar adorned in a “007” logo. Priced at approximately $75, the Champagne Bollinger Special Cuvée 007 Limited Edition is slated for a global release on October 1, 2021.
