Some people aren’t big “Halloween people.” We aren’t those people. For us, Halloween brings with it the nostalgic feeling of being a kid again, dressing up as our favorite superheroes with no worries other than who was handing out the full-size candy bars.

For as far back as we can remember, we’ve been carving our pumpkins, and this year we wanted something a bit different. Chalkboard pumpkins are the perfect solution. Not only do these things look awesome, but they are a hell of a lot less messy too. The DIY tutorial calls for some chalkboard paint, chalk, sharpie, pencil, typefaces, and of course the chalk of your color. The end result is a tricked out pumpkin, without any carving work.
