The cruise industry may have taken a serious hit during the COVID-19 pandemic, but it’s looking like by the time it comes back it will be better than ever. And leading the charge will be Celebrity Beyond, a new ship from Celebrity Cruises that takes high seas luxury to a whole new level.
Celebrity’s Beyond brings a host of amenities that make it the most attractive place to spend one’s time on the water. Celebrity designers Nate Berkus and Kelly Hoppen contributed to the ship’s design, with Berkus creating the ship’s Moroccan-inspired Sunset Bar offering open-air views and Hoppen crafting the private on-ship resort The Retreat that features a rooftop garden, 25-yard lap pool, and 1,892 sq. ft. Peloton-equipped Iconic Suites — the largest and most luxurious residences in Celebrity’s fleet. There’s also The Magic Carpet, a cantilevered floating lounge that sits 13 stories above the ocean. Michelin-rated chef Daniel Boulud brings his first sea-set restaurant to Celebrity Beyond with the 50-seat Le Voyage, while none other than Gwyneth Paltrow serves as the ship’s Well-Being Advisor, offering Goop experiences and products. There’s also a Vegas-level casino, a solarium, a theater, a club, and lots more. Voyages begin in April 2022 and are on sale now.
