Casio Pro-Trek WSD-F30 Outdoor Smartwatch
Though the category is still fairly new, Casio has already managed to solidify their place at the pinnacle of the outdoor smartwatch industry thanks to their ultra-tough hi-tech Pro-Trek series. And, from the looks of things, they’ve just guaranteed that top spot with a new updated version, called the WSD-F30.
Boasting all the features you’d find in the original — like a touchscreen display, an ultra-tough case, GPS capabilities, smartphone integration, and more — this one has some pretty killer updates that make it all the more desirable. The biggest change is a new Extended Mode, which allows users access to GPS capabilities and maps offline for three full days. This one also gets an updated dual-layer monochrome and color display with crisper, cleaner details and the ability to display things like atmospheric pressure, your compass bearing, altitude, and more. Best of all, they managed to pack that into a case that’s actually thinner than the original by 3.9 mm and 0.4mm more shallow. Sure, that might not seem like a huge difference, but every millimeter counts — especially in survival situations. They’ll be available in January of 2019.
