Casa Brutale Cliffside Residence by OPA

If you’re afraid of heights, you might want to look away. OPA has unveiled a beautiful new conceptual residence built into a cliffside above the Aegean Sea.

OPA calls it the ‘casa brutale,’ and it sits in the high cliffs above the sea. It’s constructed with simple materials like wood, glass and concrete, and it provides impressive views no matter where you’re standing. Not only that, but nothing in the casa brutale makes its way above ground, and there’s a roof pool at the top that sits at ground level. Interestingly enough, the pool also functions as a massive skylight (we’d be interested to see how hot it gets in there because of which). The side of the house, which sits on the edge of the cliff, is made entirely of glass. It’s undeniably an impressive structure.
