Carlex Design has been on quite a tear lately, and although the company released a bespoke vision of the Ford Ranger in the past, that didn’t stop them from creating an all-new iteration to stand up to the genre’s leading off-road variants. The company’s most recent project, pictured below, is a brutish take on the ever-popular pickup, and we’d be lying if we said that we weren’t anxious to get behind the wheel.
The all-new Carlex Design Ford Ranger has been outfitted with a rough and rugged body kit, enhanced interior equipment, and a suite of flashy components, giving it an air of savagery relatively unmatched by other aftermarket builds. Atop the truck’s new five-spoke wheels, knobby off-road tires, and blacked-out exterior paint, a handful of bespoke inclusions make their debut, including a new grille, protective skid plate, front bumper, and oversized wheel arches. All of these improvements act in unison, complementing what is, perhaps, the Ranger’s biggest improvement — a monstrous, bed-mounted sport rack reminiscing the outlandish styles often seen in Baja and overland racing. Head to Carlex Design’s website to learn more about the truck, and while you’re there, you’ll be able to inquire about a custom build of your own.
