Carhartt WIP’s attentiveness to the ever-changing genre of streetwear is second to none, and thanks to the company’s high-profile persona, they’ve been gifted with a number of ways to keep the brand in-line with many of today’s cutting-edge offerings. One factor that has helped WIP to stand the test of time is its close-knit companionship with GORE-TEX — an innovative material provider who introduced the all-new, water-resistant Infinium series for use in a wide range of technical garments.

The pair have once again joined forces for the Carhartt WIP x GORE-TEX Infinium SS20 Collection — a series of essential outerwear pieces constructed alongside the wondrous tech. To provide wearers a handful of quintessential layers, the brand has contracted the persistent beading technology for a handful of jackets, half-zip pullovers, and hats, each with their own versatile, but classic traits. Arriving in subtle camo or black, the collection boasts a suite of well-built Velcro cuffs, zippered pockets, and adjustable hoods, pairing well with an accompanying five-panel cap to promote use within inclement weather. While not entirely waterproof, Infinium’s resistance to small bouts of moisture, wind-stopping capability, and breathability are certainly prominent aspects of its existence, making this purposeful collection all-the-more interesting. Head to Carhartt WIP’s website to peruse the collection — which starts at $68 — now.
