Spearheaded by Drew Carling, Peter Maddison and Petra Mueller, the design team at Maddison Architects presents their latest project in the Beaumaris Residence residing in Melbourne, Australia.

Although we’ve encountered some incredible houses over the past few years, the architecture of this multi-level abode is breathtaking to say the least. With 270 degree views of Philip Bay on the southside of the home, the design team decided to incorporate all the living spaces on to the south in order to fully capitalize on the scenery. To this though, the entire home had to be divided into two separate elements which include the cantilevered section to the south. Zinc cladding covers a vast majority of the home’s facade providing some nice contrast against the white stone, and wooden fence surrounding  the property.
