Canopy Stair
We might be a bit too old for backyard treehouses, but the Canopy Stair is one of those creations that you have to appreciate – even without your own treehouse.
Canopy Stair is a clever spiral staircase that attaches to any tree trunk, helping you build a walkway right up to the top. Unlike your typical wood plank ladder, these won’t harm the tree because there’s no drilling required. Each plank is constructed from beautiful curved birch plywood that attaches to the tree trunk using tension from the included ratchet straps. These straps keep the aluminum frame, treads and handrail securely attached to the trunk, letting you build out as high as your heart desires. The modular system was created by designers Robert McIntyre and Thor ter Kulve, and was designed to be taken down as easily as it goes up. [Purchase]
