When you think of the camera brand Canon, quality is the first thing that comes to mind. Now, Canon is ready to take their brand one step further with the ME20F-SH, a high-end video camera that can capture footage in super-dark settings.
The ME20F-SH is intended for production companies making films, reality television and documentaries, as it can only shoot 1080p. Although that probably means trouble for the camera in the future, Canon noted that the limitation was required to achive the highest possible low-light sensitivity. The ME20F-SH’s full-frame 35mm CMOS sensor is what makes the camera work so well. The ME20F-SH also sports an HDMI port, 2.5 and 3.5mm stereo mic jacks and an eight-pin RS-422 port. Those interested in the camera will have to save up $30,000 for when it launches in December. [Purchase]
