Khyzyl Saleem is renowned for his far-out, slammed and aero-kitted conceptual takes on various cars. And while the self-taught concept artist typically works with performance-focused road-goers and supercars, “The Kyza’s” latest render sees him take things in a new direction with the debut of a thoroughly slammed and F1 aero-equipped Can-Am side-by-side.
Starting with the latest model year Maverick X3, Saleem has lowered the Can-Am’s 14” of ground clearance by more than a foot, adding tighter track-orriented suspension and a set of KMC Roswell wheels shod in Toyo Open Country M/T tires. With the exception of the doors and hood, all of the Maverick’s stock bodywork has been jettisoned to make room for a full Formula One-style aero kit complete with a five-element front wing, low-hanging side-skirts, rear fender flare pieces, and a multi-plane rear wing. The stock SxS’s central-exit exhaust also jives perfectly with the F1-style makeover. Kyza’s “Slammed-Am” also retains the stock headlight and taillight assemblies, and its interior now boasts a redesigned roll cage and harness-equipped race seats.
