Cambridge Audio Unveils Hi-Fi Wireless Earbuds With 50 Hours Of Battery Life

While not quite as elite as brands like Bang & Olufsen or Bowers & Wilkins, Cambridge Audio nonetheless produces some objectively top-shelf Hi-Fi speakers and headphones that are available at exceedingly reasonable price points. And the UK company is continuing this tradition with its latest product unveiling, the new Melomania Touch true wireless earbuds.

The successor to the lower-specced Melomania 1 model, the Melomania Touch gets a host of upgrades over its predecessor, seeing battery life go from 45-hours up to a whopping 50—nine-hours for the earbuds themselves plus another 41 hours with the charging case—and receiving markedly better audio quality. This latter attribute is made possible through the implementation of Cambridge Audio’s award-winning CX range Hi-Fi-grade amplification and graphene-enhanced 7mm drivers. And, in addition to boasting Transparency Mode, Bluetooth 5 connectivity, and AAC and aptX codec support, Touch-spec also pairs with the proprietary Melomania App for GPS tracking misplaced earbuds, customizing the EQ, monitoring realtime battery life, or downloading firmware updates. Available in black or white, the Cambridge Audio Melomania Touch true wireless headphones are scheduled for a release on New Years Day 2021, with pricing accessibly set at $150.
