Callaway Corvette C7 GT3-R Spec Racer
At the ADAC GT Masters Season Finale in Germany, Callaway Competition stole the show with the unveiling of a Corvette C7 GT3-R Spec Racer, a car that shows off some impressive engineering.
This 600 horsepower demon was clearly built with racing in mind. It has a 6.2L V8 mated to a 6-speed sequential gearbox with paddle shifters. The build is covered with carbon fiber, and it has ducted cooling module. Vents were added to the rear just behind the tires, and a grill has been added to the front. It has a huge wing in the back that has exposed fasteners, allowing the driver to adjust the angle of the wing. Hell, you might even be able to take flight with it. Callaway calls the build “future proof,” and if more automobiles start looking like this, then that’s a future we can’t wait to see.
