Hookie Co. Releases A Modular Bolt-On Kit For The All-Electric Utilitarian Cake Ösa

Though the electric motorcycle market has been rapidly expanding over the last few years, the custom motorcycle scene has largely failed to embrace EV platforms as donors for one-off builds. And this is a huge part of why Hookie Co.’s latest project is so noteworthy, as it not only transforms one of the most unlikely EV candidates out there but has also done so as a purchasable bolt-on kit rather than a one-off work.

Dubbed the “ANT,” the bike is built around Cake’s highly utilitarian and modular Ösa model and takes advantage of the Swedish two-wheeler’s main frame backbone and its bevy of anchor points by attaching custom-formed aluminum bodywork and a cargo basket. Hookie has also utilized the new bodywork as a canvas for artwork or traditional liveries. Below, the ANT’s footpegs are now mounted on a customizable bracket that allows their position to be easily adjusted. Rounding out the kit is a removable battery basket, a Koso Thunderbolt LED headlight, a backpack-mounting system, Hookie’s Frozen Grips, 14” Bridgestone tires, a stacked LED taillight setup in a rectangular housing, and a custom (31.5”) seat upholstered in vegan leather. Available now for the Cake Ösa+ and Ösa Lite, the Hookie Co. ANT Kit is being sold as a turnkey bike for approximately $20,675 or as a bolt-on kit starting from roughly $2,935.

Purchase: $2,935+
