There’s just something so aesthetically pleasing about A-frame cabin design. The sharp angles, the perfect symmetry, the top-to-bottom clean and unbroken rooflines… they’re the best. Or, at least they were the best — before we saw this incredible triple-A-frame concept from designer Amin Moazzen that puts regular A-frames to shame.
Dubbed the Cabin of Hope or Joy Cabin, Moazzen’s build features three staggered bi-level A-frames, joined together on a large wood plank base. The open design encourages an indoor-outdoor lifestyle, with the second floor seamlessly flowing out onto an expansive deck, and the ground floor extending out into a boat dock, a sunbathing area, and a luxurious patio. An extensive use of wood and glass contributes to the calming and natural feel of the design, while LED accent lighting and multiple dramatic cantilevered elements — including roughly half of the front A-frame’s second floor — add a striking dash of style. Moazzen describes the concept as a modern cabin escape from the modern world, and that sounds like a pretty fitting description to us.
