Burton Unveils A Capsule Of Snow Gear Used In Its ‘One World’ Movie

First released in November of 2020, Burton’s new One World project was a bar-raising film, combining world-class snowboarding with equally-elite camera work and cinematography. Filmed over the course of 72 days, the stars of the video are undoubtedly the 39 professional riders that appear in the movie, though One World also features an array of novel gear and apparel that is now being made available to the public via a new limited-edition capsule collection.

Comprised of more than 60 items, this extensive capsule includes various shirts, jackets, boots, bindings, bags, hats, gloves, and a slew of other accessories and odds and ends. Also constituting part of the collection are more than a dozen limited-edition snowboards. A variety of products in the collection were also produced with a focus on sustainability, featuring rPET Polartec constructions made from recycled plastic bottles. Slated for a release on New Years Day 2021, the Burton One World Capsule Collection starts at $22 and goes up to $750. A portion of the proceeds from the One World capsule collection will also benefit Protect Our Winters, a 501 nonprofit focusing on legislation pertaining to climate change
