Burrow’s award-winning Index shelving system became an instant hit among everyone from humble homemakers to interior designers. To keep the ball rolling, the mid-century-modern-inspired manufacturer has composed an entire collection of products taking after its popular wall shelves.
The Index Collection features five pieces built using the same brand of meticulous craftsmanship that goes into all of Burrow’s other products. We’ll start with the 66″ high Index Bookcase, which has a total of 5 shelves and is available in sets ranging between 1 and 3. Next is the 44″ wide Index Coffee Table, which is assembled from ash veneered plywood and solid ash wood, then rounded out with a pair of shelves. Then, to finish off your living room, Burrow claims the nearly-61” Index Console serves as “an alternative to the traditional closed credenza,” and there’s no denying how great it would look under your TV.
As we head toward more office-appropriate pieces, the Index Desk is a streamlined standout. While it’s a bit smaller than the average work desk, it’s a great writing nook for people trying to save space. For added functionality, it even comes equipped with a hidden pocket shelf. The sleek collection is rounded out by the Index Stool, which takes inspiration from the minimalist designs of the Shaker Movement. If you choose to buy a set of them, you can stack as many as seven on top of each other. Lastly, each of the new furnishings from Burrow’s latest line is available in an oak or walnut finish.
Finding a balance between form and function is typically difficult, but Burrow is making it look easy. The Index Collection is available on the brand’s webshop starting from $195.
