The same way that Becky Johnson blossomed from a spectacled wallflower to a stunning drool-inducer between the 9th and 10th grades, is the same way that the gearheads at Sartorie Meccaniche have transformed this Buell x1 Lightning into a legitimate cafe racer that’s also a real looker.

The backend was totally custom-made, the stock tank was replaced with a Norton endurance tank made from fiberglass, and now instead of electronic injection, a brand new giant carburetor does the work. “Belva” is the new name for this baby, and while the English on the SM website is a little spotty, we totally get the gist of what they mean when they say “when you push the button the beast came to life and the magic happen, it really seem that this bike is a living animal that need to be tamed.”
