Budweiser America Beer

Well folks, this is it. With an election cycle resulting in two of the most unpopular candidates to date, there’s only one thing left to do apparently. Drink until we forget about it. And what better way to celebrate the American time-honored tradition of drinking than sharing several cold re-branded Budweiser beers with your buddies. That’s right, Anheuser-Busch just renamed their stable beer “America” for summer 2016. Time to get yourself some.

It’s not just the name either, a closer look at the can displays a complete ode to the stars and stripes with excerpts from the Star Spangled Banner near the top and American the Beautiful in the center label. E Pluribus Unum replaces King of Beers and you can just make out With Liberty & Justice for All wrapped around the bottom of the can. Like enjoying a footlong hotdog at your favorite baseball stadium in the mid-summer heat, this summer beer is about as American as it gets. As for the Founding Fathers’ opinion on the move? We’ll leave that up for debate. However, you can bet your ass that we’ll be seeing Mr. Trump himself sipping on a few of these this summer. Just don’t tell him that AB is now owned by a Belgium-Brazilian company.
