Brewmeister Snake Venom: The Strongest Beer in the World

Jun 13, 2014

Category: Food

When it comes to creating the strongest beer in the world, the folks at Brewmeister are in competition with themselves. After debuting their 65% ABV Armageddon beer last year, the team is back with a more potent beer dubbed Snake Venom.

So just how strong is the world’s new strongest beer you ask? Snake Venom comes in at a staggering 67% ABV, so you best hide those car keys before popping the top on this bad boy. The brew features smoked peat malt paired with a combination of ale yeast and Champagne yeast. To really put the strength of this beer into perspective for you, a typical whiskey is 80 proof (40% ABV), and just a few 2-finger glasses of that will start getting you buzzed. With that being said, we can’t imagine how you’ll feel after pounding an entire bottle of Snake Venom.
