Back in 1999, two aviation adventurers executed the first non-stop air balloon trip around the globe in the Breitling Orbiter 3 while sporting Breitling Emergency Watches. Celebrating those intrepid men, the Swiss luxury watchmaker has constructed the Breitling Professional Cockpit B50 Orbiter Limited Edition Watch.

Limited to just 213 examples, referencing the completion of the trip on March 21, this timepiece is powered by Breitling Caliber B50, which is a thermal-compensated SuperQuartz analog and digital-display movement. The COSC-certified Cockpit B50 Orbiter has a 46mm carbon-coated titanium case, bright orange dial, rubber strap, flyback function, and an electronic tachymeter. On the back of the 100-meter water-resistant timepiece, you’ll see the image of the Orbiter 3 balloon, as well as the limited-edition number. There’s no word on the price yet, but we’re assuming it will be somewhere around $8,000.
