The Bose SoundLink Mini II takes our favorite portable Bluetooth speaker, and adds some nice functionality to the mix, ensuring that they’re still toting the title of best bang for your buck speaker.
A natural evolution to the original offering, Bose’s new mini wireless speaker looks just like its predecessor – sporting that same sleek aluminum design we love, complete with Bose branding across the front (available in different color options). And while it looks strikingly similar, there are some notable differences in the performance department. The SoundLink Mini II now boasts a built-in microphone for speakerphone use, a 10-hour lithium-ion battery for extended use, and they’ve even done away with that annoying proprietary adapter in favor of a more universal USB charge port. The brand claims that pairing is easier than ever, while also giving users the ability to switch back and forth between two paired devices simultaneously. The speaker retails for $200. [Purchase]
