Bond’s Skyfall Barbour Jacket

Category: Style

Usually when one sees a writeup of Bond watches or clothing – one expects to find more formal attire; tuxedos, Rolex watches, and super fast cars. And while we’d definitely characterize Bond’s Skyfall Barbour Beacon Jacket as high-end, it is far from formal.

Sure, the jacket has a classic look to it thanks to the traditional blazer styling, but that hint of formality is augmented by its focus on performance. The jacket from the heritage U.K.-based hunting brand is cut from 100% waxed cotton, and features thicker waxed elbow patches for a combination of waterproofing and durability in the field. Barbour’s Beacon also has large pockets along the hip, a chest pocket, and a stylish button throat flap for keeping the cold out. Whether you’re trying to bag a few quail or just brave the cold, wet weather – this Bond-approved layer is more than up to the challenge.
