Bollinger’s Electrified Rides Get Adventure-Ready Off-Road Upgrades

We were ecstatic when Bollinger announced their B1 SUV and B2 Pickup Truck, combining power and modern technology to form road-going tanks with aggressive styling to match. Now the company is leveling up their B1 and B2 rides with the Bollinger All-Electric Vehicle Upgrade Kits based on online community requests, prepping them for outdoor adventures in the wild.

The vehicles are free from traditional doors, replaced instead with open-air tube-frame doors, keeping adventurers onboard when they drive over rugged terrain. They also both have eight enormous driving lights on the roof for nighttime action in the backcountry. Not to mention, the B1 and B2 are equipped with upgraded wheels and tires, winches, and hood- and tail-mounted spare wheels. To access the sturdy steel roof rack of the B1, it’s packing a small roof ladder. At the core of both rides is a 120 kWh battery pack, delivering 614 horsepower and 668 lb-ft of torque along with a range of 200 miles. We’re not sure everything from these off-road upgrades presented will be available once the company starts deliveries next year, but our fingers are crossed.
