BMW Z4 Roadster Concept

In an effort to ramp up anticipation for their upcoming production vehicles in 2018, BMW just unveiled two concept vehicles at this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. One of which was their Concept 8 Series first revealed several months ago, the second is this striking beauty shown here – dubbed the BMW Concept Z4.

The concept, sporting a roadster-type trim, boasts a sleek and beautify exterior complete with an aggressive yet streamlined appearance. It’s a 2-seater, enveloping the driver and passenger in its “energetic orange” paint job along with a long wheelbase, compact rear end and stretched silhouette paying tribute to classic roadster designs. You’ll also notice the dynamic-looking front end of the vehicle and a shorter bonnet resulting in a driver position nearer the center of the Z4. This little detail allows for a sportier and more agile experience behind the wheel – one feature we certainly admire about the new concept. No specs on the expected drivetrain or powerplant have yet been released, though production is slated for next year.
