BMW’s X7 SUV Gets A Sinister Makeover With The ‘Dark Shadow’ Edition

By now, it’s become painfully clear that BMW has a knack for the creation of the industry’s most enticing “all black” automotive platforms. The most recent in its long and illustrious line of devilish revisions is none other than the X7 “Dark Shadow” Edition — a sinister adaptation of its ever-popular SUV.

BMW’s X7 “Dark Shadow” is an exercise in covert recreation. The colorful, eye-catching hues that once adorned its exterior have been replaced with a less-expressive matte-gray paint, complementing the edition’s Individual High Gloss Shadow Line. Of course, this means that X7 also takes on a new suite of premium components, including a black-chrome-finished kidney grille, roof railing, and column. Pay closer attention, and you’ll find that the SUV has also been gifted with the company’s aerodynamically-attuned M Sports Package, offering driver’s an exclusive trim, a sports exhaust system, and 22-inch M light-alloy wheels dressed in a haunting Jet Black matte finish. The X7’s interior elaborates on the ominous demeanor of BMW’s “Dark Shadow” line, introducing foreboding Merino leather upholstery, and Night Blue/Black Alcantara throughout. While the SUV’s pricing and availability have yet to be revealed, the company has stated that production will begin sometime next month.
