BMW R80 Police Bike by VTR Customs

Switzerland’s police force know how to do things right, at least if you judge them by the vehicles they use. Although police use of the BMW R80 RT around the world isn’t anything new, this Swiss-built custom by VTR Customs is a unique gem unlike anything we’ve seen before.

This BMW R80 RT custom adds a slew of serious racing and performance technology to enhance the police’s ability to chase down those fast Swiss cars that might get into some trouble. This custom uses fuel injection with a home-made injection system that allows riders to control different fuel and ignition maps with a switch located on the top fork yoke. The VTR custom also includes a Rotrex supercharger that has been custom-mounted using various pulleys designed in-house. Believe it or not, the bike also has a compact nitrous oxide injection system that cools the intake air, increasing air density and oxygen content. Might we suggest not trying to outrun the Swiss Police?
