BMW R75 ‘Recall’ by Ton-Up Garage

Vintage motorcycle fans know that there’s little out there that can compare to an old /5 from BMW, but this reclaimed, revamped, and refreshed design from Ton-Up Garage in Portugal is one of them. Meet Recall, an R75/5 who has been given a second lease on life.

Done as a complete nuts-and-bolts rebuild, the body now sits on a pair of 18” rims with Pirelli MT43 tires surrounding steel spokes. A modified suspension gives it a low-rider aesthetic while a Lithium-Ion battery is now resting in the unused air box. Keeping the peanut engine covers and toaster tank, they managed to alter the turn signals, handlebars, and the headlight to add a bit of new function with the old-school style. Right down to the maroon, pearl, and gray paint job, they’ve kept the spirit of the past alive while winking at the future.
