BMW R69S Voltron by ER Motorcycles
To any 80s kid, the name “Voltron” signifies some badass nostalgic robot action, so if you’re gonna use it for your motorcycle, you need to make sure it’s on point. We’re gonna go ahead and say the experts at Slovenia-based ER Motorcycles have done justice to the name with this custom 1964 BMW R69S.
With an emphasis on melding the old with the new in one sleek package, ER took the original frame and worked in a handful of parts from the later R80 RT, including the engine, entire front end, and 18” wheels. The transmission came from a rebuilt five-speed BMW R100, while the fuel tank is the famous R60/5 ‘Toaster’ style. Some of the modern touches include Brembo calipers and Motogadget electrics.
