When it comes to the bobber motorcycle style, riders typically associate this type with old Harley-Davidson or Indian motorcycles. However, since the popularity of these rides continues to gain traction amongst the industry, workshops are experimenting with bike brands that wouldn’t normally fall in line with the big and burly style. Point-in-case, this BMW R50/3 from Titan Motorcycle Company.
Dubbed the “Bavarian Bobber,” this build began with a 1956 R50/3 frame. The Titan team then mounted an R75/7 engine and gearbox to the vintage frame that now pushes out 70 horses. The original wheels were then restored and fitted with brand new 18-inch rims wrapped within classic Avon MK II tires. This beauty also received a new paint job complete with ceramic coated pipes and a pair of handsome fishtails for good measure. What’s actually most striking about this build is the tank itself, handmade with alloy side covers and kneepads, candy blue trim, and 4.5 gallons of fuel capacity. Complement that with the ride’s leather seat complete with blue stitching and you have an alpine-inspired ride ready to tear through the countryside.
