BMW R nineT ‘The Nostalgia Project’ By NMoto Studio

A lot of custom motorcycle builders like to imbue their bikes with styling from the past. However, most of the time they harken back to the ’50s at the earliest. And that’s a major shame because there are some beautiful and historically-significant motorcycles released long before that. One such bike is the 1934 BMW R7, a bike which the folks at NMoto Studio have paid tribute to with their ‘Nostalgia Project’ BMW R nineT.

Originally a concept bike, of which only one was ever built, the R7 was an automotive masterpiece — with a clean design inspired the Art Deco movement that still managed to embrace the natural impression of movement found in the lines of the motorcycle itself. Boasting all the bells and whistles found in the R nineT’s modern engine, this functional homage manages to capture that same essence — all while remaining completely functional. What’s even better: this one isn’t one-of-a-kind, but rather is a kit of sorts that you can apply to your own R nineT through NMoto Studio themselves, making this the closest thing to actually owning your own version of the legendary R7. Unfortunately, pricing and availability haven’t been announced, but you can sign up for updates through the brand’s website.
