Zillers Built A Bespoke Aluminum-Bodied Sci-Fi-Styled BMW R NineT Moto

Zillers Garage has established itself as one of Russia’s most celebrated custom motorcycle builders, with the Moscow-based operation being the first-ever Russian shop to take home the highly-coveted AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building title back in 2018. The shop’s no stranger to outside-the-box, idiosyncratic projects, and its newest one-off bike — a sci-fi-themed BMW R nineT — very much falls into this category while still marking a clear departure from the signature bespoke hard-tailed downtube-framed builds that Zillers has built its name on.

Sporting a space-age, almost alien aesthetic, the donor’s tubular framework has been shrouded in a full set of bespoke aluminum bodywork, with a one-piece upper fairing, tank, tail (with slide-out compartment), and side panel combo piece capped off with a “tank cover” with the bulk of the switchgear controls and a Motogadget Motoscope Mini sunken into the piece, along with a belly-pan with cutouts for the exhaust routing, cylinder heads, and a set of aftermarket rear-sets. Now rolling along on shortened and lowered suspension and custom wheels, the build is also outfitted with backlit Roundels, flush LED lighting and custom low-profile indicators, and a bespoke exhaust system ending in a GP-style muffler. World-class work indeed.
