Two Eras Of BMW M3s Combine To Make This Sinister Speedster Concept

Adherents of the BMW M3 can argue endlessly over which generation is best. For some, nothing beats the boxy style and legendary S14 engine of the E30 original, while others prefer the contemporary look and V8 power of the E93. But a unique render from Tlibekua Design doesn’t force you to choose, as it combines elements from these two M3 generations and turns them into a speedster to boot.

The wild concept, which Tlibekua calls a BMW E393, takes the iconic front end of an E30 M3 and seamlessly blends it into the sleek and curvy body of an E90 M3. The result works a whole lot better than you might think, and one look at it should have today’s BMW designers rethinking the marque’s modern-day oversized kidney grilles. But just mashing up the two M3s wasn’t enough for Tlibekua, so the render also loses the roof and windshield to become a true speedster. Hey, speedsters are in right now with the Aston Martin Speedster, Ferrari Monza, and McLaren Elva, so why shouldn’t BMW get in on the open-top action? You can have a closer look at the BMW E393 Speedster, along with Tlibekua Design’s other work, by heading over to their Instagram page.
