While we do love concept cars that reveal potential future design trends, there’s a lot to be said about concepts that pay homage to the classics. That’s exactly what we have here with the BMW CS Vintage Concept.

Designed by David Obendorfer, the vehicle pays homage to 2 of the most classic Bimmers of all time: the 1968 BMW E9 and the 1965 BMW 2000 CES. The concept does a great job at fusing both of the vehicles from the 1960s, while still infusing it with plenty of modern day technology and design elements. The end result is a vehicle that’s perfect for today, while still being reminiscent of the classics of yesteryear. The vehicle falls in line nicely with Obendorfer’s tagline : “Car concepts between past and future.”
