BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage R
The BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage R is a beefed up version of the racer is intended to celebrate the company’s 40th anniversary in North America, as well as the original 3.0 CSL’s introduction to the track in 1975.
BMW has gotten rid of the horrific neon yellow paint that was on the original 3.0 CSL Hommage which debuted in May, and replaced it with a white base and blue and red accents. It has a bold rear spoiler and an impressive-looking rear in general. The visor of the driver’s helmet will have a heads up display that includes speed, gear, and GPS information. The concept isn’t going into production, but it offers a look at what we might expect from BMW in the future. The car is set to make its official debut in Pebble Beach at the Concours d’Elegance.
