For many people, telling time is supposed to be an instantaneous process; you look at your phone, you see the time. But some people might want a little more out of the equation; the thrill of the chase and what not. For those people and anyone looking for a unique time-telling conversation piece, there’s Blub Uno.

Made from machined aluminum, glass, bamboo, this clock tells the time, date, and temperature through its retro-styled glass tube. There’s only one digit displayed at a time, so 12:30pm would display as ‘1… 2… 3… 0’. The USB-powered Blub Uno also includes a remote control for selecting the settings, including an alarm and backlighting color. It’s available in aluminum and bamboo, plain aluminum and limited edition black. Grab one on Kickstarter now for $299. [Purchase]
