GoPros aren’t the only action shot cameras around anymore, as more and more camera manufacturers are creating their own version. Blackmagic is no exception, as they’ve introduced their own action shot camera, the Micro Cinema Camera. It is a miniaturized Super 16mm, professional digital film camera designed to be operated remotely.

The Blackmagic Micro Cinema Camera measures just 2.74″x3.25″x2.57″, and can be mounted to quadcopters, helmets or virtually anything. It captures in full HD 1080p with 13 stops, a wide dynamic range and global shutter of up to 30 frames per second. With an ISO of up to 1600, the Micro Cinema Camera even gives great quality in low light environments. And, there are plenty of options for lightweight professional interchangeable lenses. The Micro Cinema Camera also records in either Cinema DNG RAW or ProRes file formats, so you’ll always have uncompressed professional formats. The camera also comes with DaVinci Resolve Lite for easy editing. The Blackmagic Micro Cinema Camera can be picked up for $995. [Purchase]
