Take A Look Inside The Bike Shed’s New Moto-Cultural LA Boutique

For many years, The Bike Shed has called the cobbled streets of London home. And while the company’s English spirit will never be battered or tarnished, it’s finally decided to expand across the sea — the first step being a new base of operations headquartered in Los Angeles’ eclectic Arts District.

Amidst the area’s artisanal shops, restaurants, creative studios, and cafes, The Bike Shed’s newly-acquired, 30,000 square-foot space might not stand out like it would in a different area of the city. But that’s alright with the shop’s creators, who opted for the location due to its character, space, historic footprint, and prominence as one of the city’s most trafficked locales. Inside of the brick-borne warehouse, fans of the company will find an expansive cafe, bar, and restaurant, various retail areas, and Parts & Labour barbers alongside the company’s characteristic showcase of motorcycles and swag. There’s even an on-site tattoo suite, dubbed “The Paint Shop,” for The Bike Shed’s visiting connoisseurs. The cherry on top? The brand’s LA boutique is just 20 minutes from the Angeles Crest — one of the city’s finest mountain riding roads for motorcyclists. Look for the location to launch in full capacity sometime in September 2020.
