BIC Sport SUP TOUGH-TEC

Although most people know them for their lighters and pens, you’d be wrong to pigeon-hole BIC strictly to pocketable items. Dead wrong. Their reach (and product mastery) extends much further than that. Don’t believe us? Have a look at one of their latest innovations: the BIC Sport Stand Up Paddle-board TOUGH-TEC.

Made entirely in France, these SUPs are made from 100% recyclable materials – making them friendly to the environments they are intended for. More than that, the proprietary polyethylene used in their creation is nearly indestructible in normal use. In fact, it’s 3 times stronger and 10% lighter than previous varieties. And they’re even anti-UV treated to avoid degradation yellowing from the sun and feature an extra thick layer of polypropylene on the outer rails to add an extra bit of protection. These SUPs come in flatwater or ocean-ready styles and retail starting at $650. [Purchase]
