Best Made has a knack for the creation of the clothing industry’s finest garments, and the reimplementation of classic styles seems to be their forte. Now, the company has decided to release an ultra-rare design from the golden age of the U.S. Navy — the Dehen Submariner Coat.
To bring the iconic jacket into the modern age, Best Made joined forces with Dehen Knitting Co., a centurial brand that specializes in the creation of nostalgic garments. Each dense-knit example is crafted using three pounds of worsted wool, promoting a lifetime of storied use, and a comfortable, but clean-cut military aesthetic. Like the Navy’s lauded original, the Dehen features an inherently high collar, accented by a throat latch, dual hip patch pockets, and Corozo button closures. To add to its legitimacy, each bespoke Submariner has been built to exacting standards in the U.S.A. The fashionable, but functional Dehen Coat is available now via Best Made’s website for $468.
