Though they operate in different spaces, Berluti and Bang & Olufsen actually possess a myriad of commonalities, from their shared proclivity for top-shelf materials and craftsmanship to their sleek and striking design language to the fact both outfits cater to a more affluent clientele. As a result, the Struer audio firm has joined forces with the prestigious Parisian fashion label to deliver a limited-edition Berluti x Bang & Olufsen collection.
The collection is comprised of five special edition items that are crafted by Berluti at the fashion house’s manufacturing facility utilizing a number of the label’s signature materials. This includes a Berluti edition of B&O’s recently-released flagship Beoplay H95 headphones which feature hand-patinated Venezia leather with embossed branding encompassing a laser-engraved black aluminum housing and a stencil-style Berluti-logoed Beosound A1 2nd Gen waterproof Bluetooth speaker. The Danish audio outfit’s Beosound Balance speaker also gets a similar treatment, having its wooden base decorated in Venezia leather and special dark-knit fabric. This collab also features Berluti versions of Bang & Olufsen’s world-class Beovision Harmony television and idiosyncratic and geometric Beolab 90 floor speaker — both of which are being offered on a limited made-to-order basis. The co-branded capsule also includes a canvas and leather pouch. Available now, the Berluti x Bang & Olufsen Collection starts at $400.
