Bentley Bentayga V8

For as long as it’s been in production, Bentley’s luxury SUV has been powered by – what some might call – a sad-sounding V6 engine. Now, however, they’ve juiced up the Bentayga with a new, much more aggressive and angry V8 under the hood.

No need to fear, none of the brand’s signature luxury has been compromised by this new edition. It still has a plush and fully-featured interior and an exterior form as sharp-looking as ever. It’s just that now, growling from within, you’ll find an eight-cylinder twin-scroll turbocharged 4.0-liter power plant capable of producing 542 bhp and 568 foot-pounds of torque. That beast gives this Bentayga a top speed of 180 MPH and 0-60 time of only 4.4 seconds. To pair with its new heart, Bentley has also added new twin-quad exhaust pipes and gives customers the option to upgrade to ceramic brakes. No word yet on price, but we should be hearing more about it in the coming months.
