Since its debut in 2017, the Benchmade Bugout has stood as one of the most popular top-shelf EDC knives on the market, and while the Oregon City knife maker has already produced the model in a slew of different variants and offers custom-configured versions of it on its website, Benchmade is now giving customers the option of building out their own bespoke Bugout knives with new spare-no-expense material options.
The new top-shelf Bugout configurator now gives users the choice of selecting from Ladder-patterned Damasteel or CPM-S90V blade steel (available with a plain or semi-serrated drop-point edge and in matte black or bare satin finishes), as well as new, equally high-end carbon fiber or titanium handle construction upgrades. Users can also round out their custom knife by choosing pocket clip type and their choice of black, raw metal, or vibrant anodized thumb lug and barrel spacer color choices. The Damasteel or CPM-S90V-bladed and carbon fiber or titanium-scaled Bugout are now available for customization on Benchmade’s website starting from $305.
