This Blacked-Out Benchmade EDC Blade Boasts Cutting-Edge Handle Scales

One of the better everyday carry folding knives to come out in recent years, Benchmade’s Bugout (and all its variants therein) has quickly ascended the ranks in regards to popularity. And the brand looks to want to keep that trend going, as they’ve just unveiled a new-and-improved version called the 535BK-2 Bugout for the new year.

Much of what made the original version of this knife still remains — including its drop point CPM-S30V steel blade (this time with a DLC coating), the signature AXIS locking mechanism, its mini deep-carry pocket clip, and more. But there’s one major difference: this one boasts handle scales crafted from a new in-house material called CF-Elite that actually drops the knife’s weight slightly while increasing its rigidity under pressure. Truly, this exceptional knife didn’t need to be improved, but Benchmade did so anyway. Get it soon for $170.
