Benchmade Slims Down Their Vallation Tactical Knife For EDC

Category: Gear

In case you’re not familiar, the Benchmade Vallation is a fairly intimidating tactical folding knife built tough enough to survive through the worst punishment. However, it’s a bit on the hefty side for everyday carry. Thankfully, Benchmade slimmed it down a bit for the more carry-friendly 427 Mini Vallation.

While the older version measures up at 8.76″ when deployed with a 3.7″ blade, this slightly smaller version checks in at 7.67″ with a 3.2″ blade. That means you get virtually the same cutting power with a much smaller folded silhouette. Of course, it’s still made out of the same superb materials — including CPM-S30V steel for the blade and 6061-T6 billet aluminum handle scales. It also still boasts its signature mohawk spine for exception blade control during use and the brand’s AXIS Assist for quick and easy deployment. Available with a straight or serrated drop point blade and with an available all-black finish, the Mini Vallation will be available soon starting at $245.

Purchase: $245
