Unveiled back at the beginning of this year, Benchmade’s keychain-friendly 6-in-1 folding knife was an exciting and unique ultra-compact premium everyday carry cutting tool. But the American knifemaking brand has just upgraded it in a big way for a pretty specific group of folks: cigar lovers. Allow us to introduce the Benchmade 381 Aller Fumée.
Just about everything that made the original edition spectacular has returned — including its stout CPM-S30V steel blade, as well as a built-in screwdriver, pry bar, micro bit driver, money/pocket clip, bottle opener, and a hole for a lanyard attachment. The difference, however, comes in a new Richlite handle with a 56 ring gauge cut-out window for clipping stogeys. Best of all, the guillotine blade has been modified for the perfect cut without sacrificing its normal everyday utility. With a release date set for early December, the 381 Aller Fumée is priced at $160.
