Benchmade 319 Proper Knife
Gentleman’s folding knives have a quiet refinement to them. Sure, they’re not going to blow you away with a salvo of crazy features and tactical applications, but – when done right – they’re more than enough to get the job done. Or at least that’s the case with the brand’s take on this classic pocket knife, the Benchmade 319 Proper.
Featuring a simple straightforward sheepsfoot CPM-S30V high-end steel blade, a non-locking slipjoint, and your choice of either a crimson G10 or khaki Micarta handle, this no-nonsense EDC pocket knife is plenty functional enough for most modern men. It’s also lacking any and all extraneous pieces that might otherwise weigh it down – including a pocket clip – giving it a total weight of just 2.32 ounces. Which is impressive for a folding knife that measures up at 6.69″ in length. For a minimalist approach at an everyday carry pocket knife, it doesn’t get much better than this $115 offering.
