When it comes to everyday carry accessories and bags, Bellroy has always been at the forefront of both innovation and design. What you might not know, however, is that they’ve also always been interested in sustainability — operating under the mindset that what’s good for the world and the environment is good for all of us. Now they’re taking another major step forward in that regard with their Recycled bag collection.
The brand-new lineup is widely-encompassing, categorically speaking, as it includes everything from a pencil case and dopp kit to a range of backpacks and totes — including an eco-friendly redux of their iconic Classic Backpack. And while they’re clearly differentiated by intended purpose, they’re all made from yarns created out of recycled plastic bottles. In fact, the brand is hoping to have 90% of their woven products made from natural or recycled fabrics by the middle of 2021. If they stay on track, they’ll reuse a whopping two-million bottles by the end of next year. This forward-thinking collection is available right now starting at just $39 for the pencil case and up to $289 for the most expensive of the backpacks.
