Bell, so it would seem, has been at the top of their game lately – especially when it comes to their motorcycle helmets. And now they’ve marked another great achievement: partnering up with Ace Cafe, birthplace of the cafe racer craze, to create this stunning retro skull protector.
The Moto-3 Ace Cafe GP 66 may look like it was just pulled out of a time capsule from the 1970s, but we assure you it has plenty of modern tech built-in. For instance, the shell is a fiberglass composite that’s lightweight, but still offers enough impact-protection to earn the helmet both DOT and ECE safety certifications. It also includes an EPS-lined chinbar for a little extra impact padding, has a removable washable anti-microbial liner, and comes with a 5-snap visor to keep the glare out of your eyes on sunny rides. Our favorite detail, however, is the British-inspired red, white, and blue livery and the Ace Cafe 80-year anniversary decal stamped on the back. Get your head in this retro bucket for $290.
